About me

Luca Marconi (1985), italian singer, songwriter, musician, actor and musical performer studies with the vocal coach Stefano Zanchetti and after a large experience in live shows, starts his artistic and discographic career in 2003, with the prog-rock band Picaroon’s Spark, as lead vocal, author and co-composer, touring Italy promoting their debut album, entitled "Nightfeast in highfires wood" published in 2007.

In 2010, he joins the Contemporary Orchestra of Teramo, with which he has the chance to play with the historical members of the english progressive-rock band Gentle Giant, Gary Green and Malcolm Mortimore, recording on the 22nd of July 2011 a live album entitled “The Other Face of Gentle Giant”, distributed in Italy and Japan.

In 2011 he starts his musical and theatrical career becoming a member of the cast of "Notre Dame de Paris" of Riccardo Cocciante, performing the role of the Poet Pierre Gringoire, touring Italy for two years, allowing him to perform in the majestic Arena of Verona. In 2012 Cocciante involves him in the event “Cocciante canta Cocciante”, performing in Rome at Terme di Caracalla’s Theatre and in Taormina at Greek Theatre, as lead voice and back vocals. He also continues his opera musical career playing the role of Remo in “Roma Opera Musical”

In 2013 and 2014, he continues his experience with “Notre Dame de Paris” World Tour, this time performing two roles: the poet Pierre Gringoire and the captain Phoebus de Chateaupers, giving him the chance to perform in some of the most important and prestigious theatres of the world, Moskow Kremlin Theatre, Singapore, Luxemburg and Istanbul.

From 2013 till 2014 he plays the role of Laerte in “Amleto Dramma Musicale”, debuting at the Palagio Fiorentino in Stia and playing at the Espace Cardin in Paris and in the Theatre Des Carrieres in Lacoste. He's first back vocals and arranger for Bobby Kimball, Toto’s original lead singer, for his 2014 world tour gig in Rome.

For Tv, he’s the voice of the italian theme song of “Monsters Vs Aliens” Tv Series, produced by DreamWorks Animation and broadcasted in Italy on Sky Tv. Lately, in 2014, he plays the role of Olimpio Calvetti in “Beatrice Cenci Opera Drammatica” and joins the vocal group “Concerto, The italian Singers”, with which he performs in the Emirates States.

In 2015 takes part to the rock-symphonic show “Queen at the Opera”, in which he sings all the greatest hits of the historical band Queen, rearranged for Symphonic Orchestra and a rock band, touring Italy.
Always in the same year, he’s chosen by the Maestro Riccardo Muti, Cristina Mazzavillani-Muti and by the american director and choreographer Greg Ganakas, to play Rodolfo, the main male character in “Mimì è una civetta”, a modern adaptation of Giacomo Puccini’s “Bohème” touring Italy until December 2016 in the most wonderful Opera theatres.

In 2016 he’s called again by the composer Riccardo Cocciante and the producer Clemente Zard to play the roles of Pierre Gringoire and Phoebus in Notre Dame de Paris, during the last italian tour, that has ended after almost two years of sold out shows in every city.

In 2017 he gets the role of San Michele, the main role in “San Michele, l’Angelo dell’Apocalisse - Opera Musical”, supported by the Vatican debuting for the world premiere in the magnificent Santa Maria sopra Minerva Cathedral of Rome.

In 2018 he is Michele Cassio in “Otello – L’ultimo bacio – Opera Musical”, directed by Wayne Fowkes, touring Italy.

On December the 22nd of the same year, he releases his first solo album “Freely Me”, available worldwide on every digital music store and on a limited edition physical copy.

In 2019 he's chosen to play the leading role of Galileo in "We Will Rock You" the musical by Queen & Ben Elton, produced by Barley Arts for the Italian no-replica version.

In 2022 he is still involved into the rock-symphonic show “Queen at the Opera”, touring in the most important Italian theaters and arenas.
